A grocery delivery robot making its usual trip down a quiet sidewalk picked up an unexpected passenger when a pigeon stepped onto the lid and decided the machine was public transportation.
The pigeon had been watching the robot for several days. Witnesses say it first walked beside the little machine, then hopped onto the top when the robot paused at a crosswalk.
